Isaiah 5:21NIV

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight

Wisdom says,

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil….Proverbs 3:7NIV”

Who is that man who is wise in his own eyes? He is that individual who takes a stand against the Word of God.

Anytime you take a different position on any matter from what God has said, you are claiming to be wiser than God. And the Scripture says, woe to such a man.

The Word of God is the wisdom of God; it is what is best and right in any situation or matter under consideration. The Word of God supersedes what your mother, father, sister, friends or anyone says. The Word of God should be your arbiter of truth.

When Lucifer thought himself wise and shrewd in his own sight, he became the devil. You cannot out do God or His Word.

Never take a stand or position against God’s Word. For instance, when God says that fornication and cohabitation are wrong, you don’t justify it in any way. Why? The Wisdom of God says it is wrong. It is as simple as that.

As a Christian, when you see other Christians doing what is wrong but you conceal righteousness and don’t warn them, it will open a door for the devil to attack your life and home.

When we correct people, it doesn’t mean we hate them. It is for their own good and ours.

Don’t take a position against God’s Word. You cannot mock God.

Paul says,

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap……Galatians 6:7KJV”

You cannot be going to church and be praying to God when you don’t do what He asks of you as a husband, that becomes a mock of God. You cannot be worshipping God when you are not submissive as a wife in your marriage. It’s a mock of God. You cannot be an usher in the house of God and be cohabiting with a man; it is a mock of God.

Don’t be wise in your own eyes.

The Bible says,

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!…..Isaiah 5:20KJV”

Don’t present evil as good, don’t put darkness for light. Grace doesn’t mean sin is acceptable. Don’t be deceived

God bless you!

Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah! I am born again
