Romans 12:10AMP

Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor;

God’s wisdom when heeded to, solves all problems. The cause of most of the problems that society has been engrossed in, including even that in churches, has been a deep seated yearning of humans to be valued, loved and cherished.

A deficiency in this is what many times leads to armed robbery, depression, envy, substance abuse, alcoholism and other social vices

Sadly, the church which is supposed to be the ground and pillar of truth hasn’t been any different. There is oppression in many church circles. The uneducated christians are maltreated and disrespected, the poor are demeaned and mocked by the rich. The one who sees herself to be more beautiful looks down upon the other, the smartest also does the same.

Christians are quick to point fingers to racist when they themselves are no different. How do you treat your fellow brother or sister in the Lord?

The Bible says,

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?….1 Corinthians 4:7KJV”

Mention one thing that you didn’t receive!

 Every Christian is valuable; their value is the precious blood of Jesus. Anytime that you demean a Christian, you are looking down upon the blood of Jesus, for the value of any item is in the price which was paid for it.

Can you look beyond education, money, titles, facial appearance, height, positions etc. and see human beings for their true worth?

There are people who were very poor, than even the church mouse but became millionaires overnight. Their liver didn’t change, their pancreas didn’t, and the hair didn’t change color. It was the same person, with the same makeup and bodily constitution. If you could respect and value them as millionaires, you should be able to when poor. If you are not, it means it’s not the human that you value but the money.

If you can love, value and be compassionate towards someone because she is from a poor background and can’t do the same for the rich, it means you love poverty but not the human. God doesn’t love the poor over the rich or vice versa, He loves humans. Love humans!

The Word of God instructs and admonishes the Christian to put his brother or sister first when it comes to honor.

If sister A prefers sister B in honor and sister B does the same to sister A, will not everyone be happy at the end?

He says,

“Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor;”

God bless you!

 Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah!  I am born again
