God appraises actions, He evaluates and examines the actions and inactions of men. Hannah said, “ By God, actions are weighed” “Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed……1 Samuel 2:3KJV” God places men’s deeds on His scale, on His balance and measures it. Jesus gave a parable, an illustration; He said, “What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go.“Which of the two did what his father wanted?…….. “The first,” they answered…….Matthew 21:28-32NIV” God is not interested in talkers but doers. If it was about talking, all Christians will end up in the Kingdom that Jesus will be setting on earth. She goes to church, praises God whilst sleeping with another woman’s husband. He is a pastor, he preaches Jesus whilst sleeping with women in the church. So the Master said, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity……Matthew 7:22-24KJV” They were talkers but not doers. Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it……Matthew 7:13-14KJV” Be a doer, not a talker.
