You should care only about what God thinks

Psalm 51:4KJV

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

God said concerning David,

“ I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted…….Psalm 89:20-24KJV”

God said that David was a man after His own heart. This was a man who committed both murder and adultery in a short span of time.

The difference between David and Saul was that David cared about what God thought, what was important to him was how God saw him but Saul rather cared about what people thought.

Which one are you? Do you seek after God’s honour or men’s applause? Do you seek after the plaudits of men? As long as this is your drive, you can never and will never please God.

There are people that as long as they can lie, pretend and present themselves to be what they are not, they don’t care. All the evil things that he is doing, he is aware that God sees but he doesn’t care. All he or she cares about is people’s perception so as long as he or she can pretend to be what he or she is not, he or she doesn’t care. Who are you deceiving, God or yourself ? You are not what people see but what they don’t see. This is the true you. The true you is that behaviour that you are not willing to change since you have been able to deceive others

What David cared about was the God that he loved so much and had sinned against, not what people thought?

You are a wife beater but don’t care because you have been able to deceive others into thinking what you are not, who are you deceiving? God or you? You don’t respect and show reverence to your husband but people see you to be an angel, who are you deceiving? You call yourself a pastor but are after filthy lucre, mammon is your “god”, who are you deceiving?

Oh! How shameful. God sees you but you don’t care, all you do is to pretend to be what you are not, who are you deceiving?

As a Christian, as long as you are comfortable with a certain bad behaviour, you have no regard for God. If you regarded God, you will change because God sees all

A great man is not one who never makes mistakes but one who cares about what God thinks and since he cares about what God thinks, he never stays in the dirt but makes the required changes. Therefore such a man or woman will always be after spiritual growth and perfection.

All that takes your time is wealth accumulation, labouring for the applause and honour of men. You don’t think about making wealth to invest in the Gospel, you care about what people think and not what God thinks

Why are you not happy in life? All because of how people and the society see you, what a shame? You should care about what God thinks.

The Laodicean Christians cared about how people saw them, people admired them for their wealth so they thought they were complete. Its like that poor mouse in the church, to him the rich people are the ones God loves not him. He measures God’s love by money. Oh! fool, why demean God like that? This is what Jesus said about those rich Laodicean Christians,

“To the angel (divine messenger) of the church in Laodicea write:These are the words of the Amen, the trusted and faithful and true Witness, the Beginning and Origin of God’s creation:‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold (invigorating, refreshing) nor hot (healing, therapeutic); I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm (spiritually useless), and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth [rejecting you with disgust]. Because you say, “I am rich, and have prospered and grown wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked [without hope and in great need]……….Revelations 3:14-17AMP”

Are you spiritually useless or making gains for the Kingdom? They were unprofitable servants busy with the things of this world, the cares of life.

When you care about what God thinks, He takes centre stage in all that you do

He says,

“My son, give me your heart, And let your eyes observe my ways…….Proverbs 23:26KJV”
