Many times there are Christians who wonder if that blessing talked about in the Bible concerning the Christian applies to them. Oh! only if I could hear an audible voice telling me that the healing is God’s will, I will be satisfied. This they seem to think. The blessings of Christianity is a class action lawsuit, it is the lack of understanding of this vital truth, that you find some sects and denominations teach that certain blessings and promises applied to only the days of the early Apostles and disciples. What is a class action? It is a lawsuit where a member or few members in the court of law represent a group. For instance, if an organization of 5000 members sues the government since all the members cannot be in the courtroom, they may be represented by a member or few of their members but when that judge judges in favor of the organization, the verdict applies to each and every member of that organization. Such is Christianity, a class action. The blessings and teachings of Christianity are like a class action. The Master understood this very well and that is why He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world…. Matthew 28:19-20KJV” He says, convey to them the class action messages So when you find Jesus saying, “And these signs shall follow them that believe…..Mark 16:17KJV” The question becomes, are you a member of the group called believers? If so then you don’t need an audible voice. It’s a class action. Not only did the Master understand the class action nature of the Gospel, His Apostles also had knowledge of it. This is why John the Apostle said, “That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ….1 John 1:3KJV” He understood that what he heard and saw was not only for him and the other Apostles but for every Christian. Paul says, “This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus…..Ephesians 3:6NIV” A class action!
