Psalm 102:13KJV

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

When you study the Bible, you will find out that God plans, He has an agenda and plans the agenda within time. The Bible talks about set and appointed times, God has appointed times to bring His plan and purposes to fulfilment. The God of Zion is always doing something at any particular point in time.

Some Christians lag behind because they are not conscious of what God is doing at any moment in time.

God has a time table for the church and the world, all He does is according to this timetable.

For instance, Paul said

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly………Romans 5:6KJV”

The Lord Jesus died at an appointed time. In the same vein, His second coming is at a set time.

Contrary to some people thinking that God changes the date for the return of the Master, it is not so. The time had been set already and it will happen at that set time.

So presently what is on God’s timetable with regards to the church?

Paul said,

“We then, as workers together with Him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For He saith, “I have heard thee at an accepted time, and in the day of salvation have I succored thee.” Behold, now is the accepted time! Behold, now is the day of salvation!)…….. 2 Corinthians 6:1-2KJV”

We are in the day of salvation. Now is the day of salvation, not tomorrow. We are in the period where God is building the church and we are to aid in that. This is God’s agenda with the church presently. He is building His church and it’s your responsibility to help in this vision. This is why you are on earth now

The Psalmist says,

“When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory…….Psalm 102:16KJV”

Why hasn’t Jesus returned? He is waiting for Zion to be built up. He didn’t say, “When Emily marries, he shall appear in his glory” nor did he say  “ when John had built those ten mansions, he shall appear in his glory”. No!

“When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory…….Psalm 102:16KJV”

He says,

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it………Matthew 16:18KJV”

Jesus will build His church and He is  building it, the question is that will you allow yourself to be used?”

For the Christian, it doesn’t matter what you are doing in this world if you are not actively involved in the work of building Zion, you are wasting your life and time on earth. It is as simple as that.

You have to understand what is on God’s present agenda. You also have to understand what is on that timetable as pertains to the world to understand the present happenings in this world and the looming danger.

The Bible gives you the history of this world, everything is in that book. It shows you how this world will come to an end. It tells you everything

Therefore be conscious of God’s appointed times so not to be a victim of circumstances.

God bless you!
