1 Peter 2:19CSB

For it brings favor if, because of a consciousness of God, someone endures grief from suffering unjustly.

It is well pleasing if a man’s decisions are guided by God’s consciousness. God is well pleased when the knowledge of Him and His Word is what defines and dictates what we will do in any situation. Not only what you will do but also the condition of one’s heart.

This is why God was so much pleased in Jesus, He actually said it

“And lo, a voice came from Heaven, saying, “This Is My Beloved Son, In Whom I Am Well Pleased….Matthew 3:17KJV”

God was well pleased in the living Word. All what Jesus, the Living Word was going to do is to live out the Word of God in any matter or situation.

He actually said it Himself. He said

“I can of mine own self do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father who hath sent Me….John 5:30KJV”

Seek not your own will but His Word in any matter. What He says should be done and how it is to be done is what you go for, nothing more nothing less. Such is wisdom, it pays to do that. This is what brings favor.

If you will die because of His Word, die. Eternity will prove you right.

Blessed are those who suffer because of His Word. Always have the consciousness of God. Be devoted to Him and disregard your own interest. Be soaked into and given to His will.

Oh! That day when the Master returns, happy are you if you were resolute on His Word. Happy are you.

God is not mocked. He that sows to the flesh shall reap the produce of the flesh, corruption.

Your decisions in life shouldn’t be based on the consciousness of your spouse, child, friend, father, mother or self but God

The Bible instructs us not to be self-willed. To be self-willed is to be another God and there can’t be another. When Lucifer tried that, it didn’t end well

Therefore, be God conscious
