By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Luke 8:50KJV But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. “Only believe” was the master’s instruction to Jairus. Jairus was a ruler of a synagogue, whose daughter lay sick and dying. He beckoned on Jesus to come heal the daughter. This was the only daughter, a young lady of twelve years. Jairus believed, he had faith that Jesus could heal the daughter. This is why he came to Jesus. He needed divine healing. On their way, news came to him that the daughter had died. The problem had compounded, he no longer needed divine healing but for the dead to be raised. It’s like some times, you may be exercising your faith as pertaining to an issue, only to find out that the problem has augmented and worsened. What will God want you do in such situations? It’s the same thing that Jesus said to Jairus upon hearing that the daughter had passed on, He said to him “believe only”. Believe alone was the master’s message. You ought to believe alone. Don’t allow anything in, you shouldn’t draw back when the problem intensifies. Its like what Paul said, “……..Therefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore,….Ephesians 6:13-14KJV” Yes, you have to remain grounded. Faith will never fail God bless you!
