Beware of religious spirits

Colossians 2:8AMP
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ.

Don’t be deceived, the wrong doctrines and deceptions in the present day churches are nothing new. They have been there in times past. You have to understand that evil spirits are not a race, they don’t procreate. There are no grandfathers and daughters when it comes to demons. The same evil spirits that Moses, the Jews and Jesus dealt with are the ones we are dealing with. The same evil spirits that the Apostles dealt with are those we are dealing with. Last time, I was explaining what was wrong with the catholic worship, that burning incense to the queen of heaven is nothing new, it has been there since . satan just became more clever and branded it with the name Mary just to deceive Christians.

“But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil…….Jeremiah 44:17KJV”

Does your denomination burn incense to the queen of heaven? Where in the book of Acts or the Epistles, did you find the church doing that? Christians should be careful not to be lured into pagan worship.

What are religious spirits? These are evil spirits who present themselves as light and are responsible for the different forms of worships in the world.

They have perverted the Gospel of the Lord Jesus over the years gone by. They are responsible for all the Christian cults and forms of idolatry in the church. Beware of religious spirits. They influence men to bring about these things.
Paul and the Apostles of old had these same problems in their time. Don’t wait for Jesus to return to know you were deceived, search the truth

Paul wrote to Timothy and said,

“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth………1 Timothy 4:3KJV”

The Holy Spirit said prophetically that they will abandon the faith to follow demonic doctrines.

This means that they were Christians but deviated from the Truth.

Abandoning the faith doesn’t mean changing church location or building. They can be in the same church but allowed deception. He mentioned some of the demonic doctrines including forbidding people to marry. No one should be forbidden to marry. Celibacy is not a doctrine from God.

Paul didn’t marry but it was a choice, he wasn’t forbidden to marry. Peter had a wife including the other Apostles

“Have we not the right to take along with us a believing wife, as do the rest of the apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas (Peter)? …..1 Corinthians 9:5AMP”

Paul says, I chose not to marry and could have married like Peter and any other Apostle.This is why he wrote to Timothy and spoke against doctrines forbidding people to marry. Such doctrines are demonic and not of God. Be careful church, be careful Christians. Be careful of religious spirits
