Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold At that day, Jesus will say to them “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity……..Matthew 7:23KJV They had been casting out devils in Jesus’s name and it worked. They preached and prophesied in His name but Jesus said, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” Jesus said, “If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him……John 14:23KJV” He didnt say, if a man loves me, he will sing worship songs. No! if a man loves me, he will keep my word. And what were His words that He kept repeating whilst on earth “By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples: if ye have love one for another…..John 13:36KJV” Paul said, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,but do not have love, I gain nothing…….1 Corinthians 13:1-3KJV” This is why He never knew them even though they thought they had an association with Him. Jesus says that what qualifies you to be His disciple is a walk of love. We live in days where even the poor are oppressed in the church. They are looked down upon, maligned and castigated. We live in days where greatness in the house of God is measured by wealth and money. They and their preachers have brought babylon into the house of God yet still the owner of that house said, “Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth…….Luke 12:15KJV” When the early christians sat under the preaching and teaching of the apostles of the lamb, this is what it translated to “Neither was there any among them that lacked, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold” Today, when they sit under the preaching and teaching of their shepherds, this is what it translates into “This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry………Luke 12:18-19KJV” The Pastor with fleet of cars and even jets will tell the poor flock who cant even aford his rent, “You need to sow seeds to come out of your poverty, you need to sow seeds to advance the kingdom of God” Wicked fellow, why don’t you sell the fleets of cars and jets to advance God’s kingdom. James says, “If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone…….James 2:15-17KJV” If you tell the poor sow seeds and let us believe for a change in your case but you don’t provide for his needs when you know you have abundance, you are deceiving yourself. The Bible says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love……1 Corinthians 13:13NIV”. The greatest is love. Therefore you are as great as the selfless love you show You ignorant flocks who have been brain washed into thinking that gain is godliness. The day it all comes to an end is when you will understand that you lived an empty life. All those titles, money and mansions will mean nothing. The greatest life lived is a life lived for others. The master said, “ The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again.No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord……..John 10:17-18NIV” God bless you!
