Christ is a language

1 Corinthians 2:6AMP

Yet we do speak wisdom among those spiritually mature [believers who have teachable hearts and a greater understanding]; but [it is a higher] wisdom not [the wisdom] of this present age nor of the rulers and leaders of this age, who are passing away;

When you became a Christian, all the old things passed away including the language you had been speaking prior to that defining moment.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new….2 Corinthians 5:17KJV”

So He admonishes you to change your language pattern. Jesus said,

“The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you…..Matthew 12:37NLT”

There are many Christians who have not been taught the true essence of Christianity. They have a shallow understanding of the doctrine of righteousness.

They are always expressing how they have been made righteous by faith but when you observe their day-to-day communication, it clearly shows that they don’t fully understand the meaning of righteousness. They don’t. For if they did, their language pattern would have changed a long time ago.

Jesus said, your own words either acquits you or condemns you. Your own words hence you can’t blame things on God. What the Christian need is “understanding”.

He says,

“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding…..Proverbs 4:7KJV”

Wisdom and understanding are the most important things in life.

Beloved, understand that according to God’s wisdom (not the world’s wisdom), there is a difference between language and dialect. People may speak different dialects; it doesn’t mean they speak different languages.

The people of this fallen world speak the same language expressed in different dialects.

Language expresses a thought pattern but that same thought pattern can be expressed in different dialects.

This world’s wisdom communicates a language of the curse.

It is important you understand that this whole world is under a curse.

For instance, the Bible helps you to understand that when Jesus returns there will be no more curse. If the curse will cease to exist at His return, it presupposes that there is presently a curse.

“And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:….Revelation 22:3KJV”

What then is the curse?

All evil things presently in this world, which were, not there in God’s perfect world before Adam sinned, are the curse. This includes sickness, poverty, famine, sin, pains, sorrows etc etc. These resulted from the Adamic sin and the continuous sins of men.

Now, the good news which most have been calling the Gospel (without understanding) is that in Jesus, the Christian has been justified from the curse. It is a present hour reality

“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the Law of Moses……Acts 13:38-39KJV”

You have been justified from the entire curse. This is the meaning of righteousness.

It is because of all what has been explained so far that the Master said

 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned….Mark 16:15-16KJV”

The Christians are saved from the damnation; they are justified from the curse. This is why He went on to give signs indicating immunity to the curse. He talked about deadly things not harming them, immunity to serpent bite, healing sick people, not dominated by devils etc. etc.

The big question then is why are some Christians crushed by the curse?

When a person accused of murder is discharged and acquitted by the court but after he himself goes to the public admitting to be a murderer, he cannot blame anyone.

Such is the attitude of most Christians; they speak the wisdom of this world. They have not been fully taught to understand the true meaning of that righteousness they have received in Christ and hence they don’t talk right.

Christ has been made unto you a language. Talk Christ. Paul says,

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by Him”

Your speech now as a Christian should be the Christ speech. The way you have been talking since you became a Christian, did you find Jesus talking like that when He walked this earth? If not, then change

Confession
