COVID-19 is not a punitive measure from God

1Thessalonians 5:9KJV

 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

It is very important that Christians and preachers understand that COVID-19 is not from God.

There are some who have claimed it as being God’s judgement but it’s not true. Allowing something is not the same as directly causing it. The Bible indeed shows that it is of a necessity that evil escalate in the end days, all towards bringing a closure to this age but He also clarifies the happenings which will be directly from God and those that will be caused by satan, devils and wicked men.

It was a necessity that Judas Iscariot betrays Jesus but it doesn’t mean that God made him do it.

Jesus said,

“Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must happen that offenses come, but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh…..Matthew 18:7KJV”

A pandemic of this scale doesn’t just happen; don’t let anyone lie to you. It is either satan, devils or wicked men are behind.

Peter said,

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him….Acts 10:38KJV”

Peter says here that all those that Jesus healed were oppressed by satan, sickness therefore is an oppression of the devil

How do you know that COVID-19 is not God’s judgment? Simple! Any bodily pestilence that doesn’t distinguish between the world and Christians is not of God.

In Christ Jesus, Christians are not appointed to the judgment and wrath of God.

Like Paul said, “We are not appointed to the wrath of God”

This is why you need your faith to stand the evil going on.

It’s not of God but the enemy.

Jesus said,

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you…..Luke 10:19KJV”

Someone may say, “but He said this to the seventy that He chose”. It doesn’t apply to every Christian.

Well, He repeats it but this time includes all Christians.

“And He said unto them, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover……Mark 16:15-18KJV”

Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah!  I am born again
