Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. The Christian is supposed to be cautious and careful about the devil but never to be afraid of him. he is cunning and cleverly crafty so Paul warned the church of the subtlety of satan. “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ….2 Corinthians 11:3KJV” We are to be careful of him but never to fear him. There are Christians who think so high of the devil. It need not be at all. satan is a created being, God created him hence he can only have a perverted version of the abilities that God gave him. The other is that he used deception to take over the Adamic authority. There are even some Christians who dare to present satan as omniscient. Such is ridiculous. satan is not omniscient, he was created like every other creature and therefore can only have what the creator gave him. satan doesn’t come even close to the new creature, how much God Himself. Don’t be deceived into thinking so high of satan and never be afraid of him. In our dealing with satan, we should go back to the creator. He knows what satan cannot stand or resist because He created him. He knows what He put in him and his limitations. Every manufacturer knows how to destroy his machine. This great and majestic God let us know that satan cannot stand the truth and that truth pierces him down to the soul. We don’t assume and think lightly of the weapon that God reveals to us, He knows far better than us. Therefore, our safest zone is dealing with satan by the agency of the weapon that God reveals to us. satan is not powerful than the Christian, not at all. We are superior to him. he is dangerous, not in the sense of being powerful than us but that he has been in this universe a very long time and acquainted with the devices needed to deceive man into taking him out of God’s will. he knows that the dangerous place that any man could ever be is being outside the will of God. Therefore never be afraid of satan but be firm and cautious of him, be guided by the Truth of God’s Word God bless you!
