Numbers 23:19KJV
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Faith is not “I am trying to see if it will work”. When you walk on such grounds that is not faith. Faith is “I know and I am completely convinced that it will work”.

When one has genuine and pure faith, God’s word and instruction becomes the only alternative and not an alternative. He and His Word become the only solution. When God’s word and instruction is one of the alternatives or solutions, which is not faith. It just means you are harboring some doubt somewhere. And the Bible says,

“But let him ask in faith, never wavering; for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind…….James 1:6KJV”

We believed but he died? Did you make God’s Word the only solution or it was just one of the many?

There are Christians whom whilst believing God and His word, will be consulting other solutions. This is not faith. For it to be pure and genuine faith, it should be only the solution that God has prescribed.

The Christian has to understand that faith is evidence. When you say I have faith in the word of God, you are saying that I have the evidence. It means you have the testimony. He says,

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen………Hebrews 11:1KJV”

How can you be going after other solutions and be proclaiming that you have faith i.e. the evidence. The two don’t agree.

The Bible warns Christians to be sincere with their faith and not pretend because pretending with faith will lead to dire consequences. It causes shipwreck “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:……1 Timothy 1:19KJV”

He instructs you not to put good conscience away whilst operating in faith because such will cause shipwrecks.
Faith is of the heart so you have to be sincere within and with yourself. Don’t pretend to have faith in that thing when your faith has not really arrived. True faith will always work. If it didn’t work, it wasn’t faith. How can you say that God didn’t do what He said He will do even though I did my part?

“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

He says,
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him………Hebrews 11:6KJV”

God bless you!
