By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang John 16:13KJV However when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak from Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come. The most important thing in life is fulfilling the purpose for which God placed you on earth. No matter what you achieve in life, if you are not able to fulfil this purpose, you are a failure. The success of a product is the fulfilment of the purpose for which the manufacturer made it and you are God’s product. Paul says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]……Ephesians 2:10 AMPC” You are not the product of the society hence they don’t determine your success, only the manufacturer has the reserved right to do so. You see when a person dies, it doesn’t matter what the whole community, family or friends say at the funeral grounds. It doesn’t matter their eulogies, ecomiums, praises and tributes, it only matters what Jesus thinks. He alone has the reserved right to determine whether the person was a success or a failure. The creator determines the fate and success of the creature There are well meaning Christians who want to know their purpose for life. They have come to rightly understand that their career is not the purpose for which God put them on earth. Their only problem is “ how do I find out?” You can know the inheritance that belongs to all Christians from the bible, you can know all that pertains to salvation, the cross, the blood of Jesus and righteousness from the bible but you cant know God’s specific purpose for you as an individual from the bible and God knows that, this is why He sent the Holy Spirit to come live in you. He is the one to guide you into God’s specific destiny for your life. The problem of some Christians is that they want quick fixes, they want to ask and have God answer in a second, they are lazy about spiritual things yet that is the most important in life. These Christians have time for movies, series, chatting and even gossip, they spend much time on phone calls and on social media. They have much time to spend on building their careers but don’t have time to spend in fellowship with the Holy Ghost, how then are you going to know the purpose for which God created you? He says, “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths….Proverbs 3:6KJV” If you have time for God, He will have time for you. Who do you think God is? When your employer calls for a meeting, you are the first to get there. The meeting takes your whole mind for the day but you have no such reverence for the Holy Ghost yet still the Holy Spirit created your employer. He is the reason for their breathing yet you have no respect for the Holy Spirit, how are you going to find out about your destiny in life? If you will spend time in Heaven’s classroom on earth, the Holy Spirit who happens to be the teacher will guide you into the plan of God for your life. Finding your purpose is the easiest thing in life. It has become difficult for many because they don’t have time for the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost knows everything about God’s plan for your life and this Holy Ghost is in you and always with you so how come you are ignorant of God’s purpose for your life? It means there is something you are not doing right No person or book in the world is in a better position to guide you into God’s plan for your life but the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit knows everything about the plan of God and He is resident in you. Paul says “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knoweth the things of God, but the Spirit of God……1 Corinthians 2:11KJV” Get acquainted with the Holy Spirit, get to know Him more than you know your husband or wife . He will guide you into God’s plan for your life. There is a plan for your life and He alone knows it. God bless you!
