By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Psalm 19:13KJV Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. There are different kinds of sins depending on what is in focus, there are spiritual sins and physical sins but there is what is also known as presumptuous sins. There are what is referred to as hidden sins. The Psalmist says, “Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults…..Psalms 19:12KJV Hidden or secret faults most at times are borne out of ignorance and God may wink at secret faults. Paul said, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Acts 17:30KJV” He may wink at hidden faults.“Cleanse thou me from secret faults” Presumptuous sins are borne out of pride and arrogance, he is burnt on dwelling in that sin even though he may know it is wrong, he has taken a position of pride so to please his flesh. Presumptuous sins are dangerous; they are borne out of sheer wickedness. He refuses to heed to any counsel or admonition because he cannot humble himself to the dictates of God’s word Presumptuous sins cometh from a rebellious and stubborn heart. The Christian ought to walk in the spirit to keep him from presumptuous sins He says, “Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.” Presumptuous shouldn’t dominate over you.
