God chose the foolishness of preaching

1 Corinthians 1:21KJV

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Your safety and security as a Christian is in not thinking for God. Many Christians are overcome and thrown down by the problems of life because they like thinking for God.

Oh! God blessed us with that drug to save us. How did you know?  Our prayers led to the discovery of that vaccine. Why then are there complications?

These are people who think for God. You don’t think for God. Our duty is to find out what He thinks and how He works. Many good and wonderful Christians are crushed because they always want to think for God

God’s mind and thoughts are revealed in His Word.

The word “salvation” or “to save” is an all-encapsulating word, it encompasses all forms of salvation, both physical and spiritual. It cut across healing, security, deliverance, safety, moral salvation etc.

What then is God’s position when it comes to the salvation of men?

The Bible says that the world because of their wisdom and great intellect became proud and wanted nothing to do with God. They saw themselves as self-dependent and self-capable. So God also made a decision, He chose to save by the foolishness of preaching, the preaching of the cross.

God chose to heal, deliver and save through words of faith so to render the wisdom of men as foolish.

“Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?…..1 Corinthians 1:20KJV”

So when you see them struggling with COVID and its vaccines, it is because of this

God didn’t choose drugs and vaccines to save man but the preaching of the cross, the message of faith. It’s important you don’t think for God, for your own good

God chose the intangible to save man because men give glory to themselves when the tangibles are used, when it is about what can be seen and touched.

There are Christians who thank God for drugs and vaccines, there is nothing wrong with that. The raw materials used in their production came from God’s creation but the truth is that God has not chosen drugs or vaccines to save any Christian. These things are ignorantly preached in churches

Go and tell that pharmacist who is an atheist that Jesus gave that drug for healing and hear his response. There are Christians who talk as if they only use drugs. Muslims, satanists, gays, atheists and all religions of this world use drugs and it works for them.

There are many atheists who are doctors, pharmacists, and scientists but very intelligent and skilled. Don’t think as if only Christians went to that university you attended.

 Did Jesus give any medicinal potions to the sick? Did He refer any sick person to the doctor? When we read the Bible, do we find the Apostles and disciples referring any sick individual to physicians? The answer is a big “NO”. Were there doctors and physicians in their time? Emphatically Yes!

“And a certain woman who had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things under many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse,…..Mark 5:25-26KJV”

Now, physicians and medical workers are doing a good job. Drugs and vaccines in themselves are not evil or bad but it is important you also understand as a Christian that these are man’s own solution to his problems.

God doesn’t control men as robots; He created them as rational beings. When they encounter problems whether in health or any other, they are going to find solutions to their troubles. It doesn’t necessarily mean that any good appearing solution they discover directly came from God.

This is why their solutions are not foolproof and sometimes come with complications.

Divine healing is God’s way for the Christian

Jesus said

“They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover…..Mark 16:18”

If we cannot trust the very words of Jesus then we are doomed. His words are more than trustworthy.

Therefore, if a brother or sister has COVID or any other disease, lay your hands on them and command that evil sickness to leave them and be fully persuaded like Abraham. It will work.
