God will give birth to "gods"

Psalms 82:6KJV
I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High

Why are some Christians defeated in life? Why do they die from Covid, hypertension, cancer, hepatitis etc? It is because what God said didn’t mean much to them yet Jesus said
“It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God………Matthew 4:4KJV”
Man is supposed to live by and according to everyword that God has said, you can’t pick and choose.
Well, God says
“I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High”

How has that changed your approach to life and way of thinking? God calling you “god” doesn’t mean you should become an object of worship; only Him ought to be worshipped. He is rather helping you to understand the place of power that He has brought you.
What does it mean when God says “ye are gods”? What does He want you to understand from His statement?
Now that you are God’s children and have become “gods”, the happenings in your life should be consistent with how God is.
You should be like God in character, authority and righteousness. If God doesn’t get sick, you shouldn’t . If God cannot be harmed by poison, you shouldn’t. If God doesn’t lie, you shouldn’t. Paul the Apostle understood this very well so he said,

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;………2 Corinthians 5:17-18KJV”
Now that you are a Christian, all things are of God and like God John put it this way,
“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world…..1 John 4:17KJV”
“As he is, so are you in this world”. You are in this world as Jesus is God told the Jews that they were “gods” yet their experiences were not different from the rest of the world. Was it supposed to be so? Not at all. What caused it was that they didn’t understand what God said. It is the same with many Christians, they don’t understand what God has said
“ They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes………..Psalm 82:5-7KJV”

God had told the Jews that they were “gods” but they didn’t understand and hence died like the other nations, they died like mortal men. They died from the same diseases which were killing the rest of the world. Was it supposed to be? Not at all.
It happened so because they didn’t know, neither will they understand. God Himself attest prophetically through the psalmist the importance of knowing and understanding what He God has said.
It’s like some Christians. When they hear Apostle Alex saying that they shouldn’t be sick or accept sickness, they become angry. This is because they see sickness all around them so why say we shouldn’t die from sickness. They don’t know, neither
will they understand.
For ye are “gods” and all of you are children of the Most High.
It pays to understand what God has said. The Jews went to the synagogue, praising and worshipping Jehovah but this didn’t change the happenings in their life. Your experiences in life are not going to change just because you go to church or are called a Bishop. Its about the knowledge and understanding you have.

“I have said, ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High”
