By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Romans 7:18KJV For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing; for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good, I find not Paul said, I was carnal, sold under sin. The sinner was entirely under the control and love of sinning. The desire to do good was present but he could not carry it out but found himself doing the evil that he didn’t want to do. The law and commandments which were ordained for his good became evil unto him because before the law came sin was dead, it had no power but the law revived sin and made sin powerful. For by the law, came the conscience and knowledge of sin. The law was spiritual but the sinner was carnal. A carnal man cannot perform that which is spiritual, it takes the spiritual to carry out that which is spiritual. Even though the desire to do good was there, anytime the sinner made his mind to do good, there he found another law in his flesh overpowering his mind to do the evil he would not want to do. How was he going to free himself from this bondage and slavery? For he knew the end product of his sin, that it will always produce death. Oh! How was this wretched man going to save himself, how was he going to free his mind? In Christ Jesus, lied the answer. In him, was the solution. In Christ, the christian has received the energy to overpower the flesh. Jesus Christ has become his how, his how to perform that which he had always desired. Now that you a christian, if you are still wallowing in sin it doesn’t mean there isn’t any solution but that you have chosen darkness when you could have walked in light. There isnt anymore excuse for you for the answer has come, the solution is in you. Choose to walk in righteousness. God bless you!
