Numbers 21:8-9KJV

And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The secret to miracles is just taking God at His Word. Many Christians get crushed and destroyed by the troubles of life because of pride and disobedience. As a Christian, you can think yourself wiser than God without you even realizing.

If satan can keep you in the sense realm, he will defeat you every time. he is the master of the senses.

So Paul says,

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned…..1 Corinthians 2:14KJV”

God’s Word doesn’t make natural sense but spiritual and since men including even carnal Christians are persuaded by natural sense, the instruction of God’s Word becomes foolish to them.

What natural sense does parting the red sea with a rod make?

He knows so much about pharmacology and pathology for “you shall drink any deadly thing and it shall not harm you” to make sense to him. How can he believe in laying your hands on the sick to be healed when he has studied all about microbiology and immunology?

Knowledge is a dimension with different levels and natural knowledge is the least of all knowledge. The knowledge we learn in the university and medical school is the least of all knowledge. The spiritual gave birth to the natural hence the greatest knowledge is spiritual. This is why you cannot and shouldn’t pride yourself in natural knowledge.

When God tells the Christian to lay hands on the sick, there is a great deal of spiritual knowledge and sense behind it, the fact that He may not reveal to you the underlying mechanisms like they know of biochemical pathways, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, doesn’t mean there isn’t a sense behind what God is saying. Is God saying that natural knowledge is not important?

Far from that, God wants us to understand that spiritual knowledge supersedes natural knowledge because the natural came from the spiritual.

When God tells you to do something, you don’t reason it out because you are not more sensible than the God who asked you to do it. You don’t understand science more than Him.

The Bible says,

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge…. Colossians 2:3KJV”

When the Israelites were bitten by serpents, God’s instruction to Moses was

Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived”

Mr. and Mrs. reasonable, explain. Explain the sense behind a person bitten by a snake and having to look at a pole to get healed. God said, just look at the pole with the brazen serpent and you would live. What is the intellectual logic behind it?

What is the science behind a person looking at a pole and having his circulatory system, cells, tissues and organs cleansed from the venom of a viper?

Man, humble yourself and follow God’s instruction.

Do you realize that all what the Christians who died from the COVID had to do was to take God at His Word. The Word, which said, they shall drink any deadly thing and it wouldn’t harm them. It was this simple. All they needed was to be fully persuaded of that statement.

Just follow the instruction!

 God bless you!

Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah! I am born again
