Matthew 13:29KJV

But he said, ‘Nay, lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them

The reason for the false doctrines in the body of Christ is that Christians will not listen to Jesus Himself but what men are saying. They believe in the sermons of their pastors more than the very words of Jesus.

The question about whether the rapture happens before or after the tribulation should not even be an issue if Christians will just listen to the very Words of Jesus Himself.

In one of the parable of the Lord concerning the Kingdom of  heaven, this was what He had to say,

Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn……..Matthew 13:30KJV”

He told the angels let the tares and the wheat grow together until the harvest. Don’t go for any of them before the harvest. Nothing happens before the harvest. We don’t go for any of them before the harvest.

What then is this harvest? Let us find out from Jesus Himself

“The enemy that sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers are the angels…..Matthew 13:39KJV”

The harvest is the end of the world. Who are the tares and the wheat?

“The field is the world, the good seed are the children of the Kingdom, but the tares are the children of the wicked one…..Matthew 13:38KJV”

The wheat are the children of the Kingdom but the tares are children of the wicked one

Who is a child of the Kingdom? Jesus looked at an Israelite called Nicodemus and said this to him

Jesus answered, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, unless a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God…..John 3:5KJV”

Therefore, the children of the Kingdom that Jesus referred to in the parable are people who have been born again whether Jew or Gentile.

Now the important element to be noticed by proponents of a rapture before the tribulation is what Jesus said, He showed the order of things. What did He show?

He said,

Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn”

The angels will be told to gather the tares for destruction first before the wheat are attended to. Of Course, both events will happen in a split of time but the point is that the tares are gathered first.

A pre-tribulation rapture teaching contradicts what Jesus said. In a rapture of the church before tribulation, what you are saying is that the wheat is gathered together first and is even after seven or 3.5 years that the tares will be attended to. Jesus didn’t say so.

For anyone to also say that this parable applies to Israel will be an argument to nowhere. You have to listen to what Jesus said,

“He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;…..Matthew 13:37-38KJV”

The field wasn’t Israel, the field in which the seed was sown is the World.

 God bless you!

Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah! I am born again
