By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang

Ephesians 5:4KJV

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

The little foxes destroy the vine. There are certain attitudes that some Christians deem as not very important but truly are.

Christianity goes beyond going to church and engaging in church activities. Christianity is in your day-to-day living. When you are Christian, you have become a saint. In Christianity, you don’t develop to become a saint as wrongly propagated by certain denominations. Such teachings are men’s opinions. It is important that no matter the denomination you belong, you don’t live out the Christian life according to what some preachers purport to be the Word of God but are really not.

In Christianity, every child of God is born (again) a saint. The spiritual rebirth made you so.

When Paul wrote a letter to the church at Ephesus, he referred to all of them as saints. You are not a saint because you are not married. Peter, John and other chief Apostles of Jesus all had wives but were saints.

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:…Ephesians 1:1KJV”

You are a saint. You have become the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit and hence holy unto God.

Having the knowledge that the Holy Ghost lives in you should bring certain decorum and propriety in your life.

You cannot be talking and behaving like the people of this world. Holiness and righteousness have their own language and communication. No silly talk is allowed in Christianity.

There are Christians who use filthy and profane languages. Such is not proper and befitting for the Christian now that you are a saint. Such attitudes impede your faith walk in Christ

You cannot use the same mouth to worship and praise the Almighty God and to curse, insult and talk nasty about people. No, it shouldn’t be so

James says,

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be…..James 3:9-10KJV”

Praise and vulgar language shouldn’t come from the same mouth. Worship and insults shouldn’t proceed from the same mouth. You cannot be worshipping God with the same mouth used to howl insults on a man or woman created in God’s image. This ought not be so.

Therefore, let us check our language.

God bless you!

Confession

I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah! I am born again
