By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang James 1:13-15NIV When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. The lack of wisdom makes certain people including even some preachers say certain things, which are total falsehoods. They have believed them to be true, preached them as truth but really are errors. You have to be careful as a Christian because you can believe in a lie, which may even make sense to you but really is deception. The danger zone for a sinning Christian is when he or she is deceived. There are two crops of sinning Christians. One will end up in hell if he doesn’t change, the other wont. There are Christians who have been made to think that sin doesn’t matter because of Grace. Such is the danger zone and stop right there in your tracks if you have such a mindset. This is a deception from satan. satan uses two tools, fear and deception. Be careful! Sometimes, you find some Christians and even preachers who present a sinful period of their lives as part of a bigger plot, which God used to train them in certain things about life. There are a couple of Christians and preachers who make such erroneous statements. It ought to cease. Do you know who God is? God is not pleased about such things? It’s wrong, blasphemous and evil to link the most righteous God to such things. God doesn’t use sin to train any man or woman. James tells the Christian what leads to him sinning. So Mr. Preacher, that sinful period of your life wasn’t any training from God. It’s important we are sincere and honest with the Word of God He says, “When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death” God had nothing to do with that episode of sins, the lust of the flesh was It’s important we preach, teach and talk God’s talk. Talking God’s talk is talking His Word, not opinions and assumptions. It is not truth because it makes sense to the whole congregation; it is truth because God said so. It is better to be sincere with the Church and yourself than to make an erroneous story of how God was using that sinful episode to teach you something. God doesn’t operate that way. John says, “This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare unto you: that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all……1 John 1:5 KJV” Don’t link sin to the one who is Most Holy and Most righteous. He cannot and will not be part of such a plot God bless you!
