Colossians 1:27KJV

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory

The good news that God wanted to be made known to the Gentiles who had believed in Christ was that Christ has come to dwell in you, a guarantee and security for a glorious life.

It wasn’t about selling calendars, water, handkerchiefs, aprons or anointing oils etc. Such is not the Gospel but men’s own traditions and many times to make and raise money.

The Gospel is that you have received the treasure that God promised Abraham, the treasure of the Holy Ghost and every Christian should.

There can be a rub off or impartation of the power into any material whether handkerchief, aprons, water etc in an instant to bless another person but when it becomes the way of ministry, there is a big problem.

It is wrong to put the trust of Christians in holy waters, aprons, calendars etc. God is not pleased because you are contradicting the Gospel.

When you do that as a preacher, it means you haven’t fully understood the Gospel and its essence. You haven’t

You have to point them to the power residing in them, not an external material. They are not to be buying oils, waters, aprons and bangles that you have been selling. It’s very wrong and displeasing to God.

You the Christian should be careful so not to be led wrongly. Did you see Peter, Paul, John, James and the early church disciples selling oils, aprons and calendars?

But Paul used aprons? Study the context, don’t be deceived. The situation demanded that and he did that only in that instant and it was even going to be used on unbelievers not Christians. Paul didn’t go about with a ministry of aprons, oils and handkerchief.

When you say that someone is a Christian, it means that he has become the house, abode and temple of the Holy Spirit, he has become the house and abode of God’s power and anointing, what he has now is far greater than what any water, oil, calendar or bangle can contain.

Teach them the truth, teach them the true Gospel.

The Gospel is Christ in you and all the wealth and riches of the glory results from that, from the Christ in you.

So Jesus Himself said

……..If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)….. John 7:37-39KJV”

It comes from their bellies and innermost being, not aprons, calendars, handkerchiefs or bangles.

God bless you!
