There are angels sent to minister to you. They come as messengers to communicate important information to you. For instance, Angel Gabriel was sent to minister to Zechariah, the father of John the Baptist. Another example is in the book of Revelation where the Lord Jesus sent His Angel to reveal to John what was to take place at the end times. “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:…..Revelation 1:1KJV” There are Angels sent to minister to you. They come in visions and dreams Haven’t said so, you have to be careful. The fact that you see a person dressed in white garments and with bright light doesn’t necessarily mean he is an angel sent from God. satan and his messengers too can transform themselves externally to appear as such. The difference will be in their message, how consistent is it with the Word of God and His way of righteousness? Many Christian cults sprang out as a result of people claiming to have seen angels who were not really angels but devils Paul said, “ Let no one defraud you of your prize [your freedom in Christ and your salvation] by insisting on mock humility and the worship of angels, going into detail about visions [he claims] he has seen [to justify his authority], puffed up [in conceit] by his unspiritual mind…Colossians 2:18AMP” There are some that claim angelic visions which are really not so be careful Our introductory Scripture reveals another class of Angels. These are not sent to minister to you but for you. They act on your behalf as pertains to something whether of spiritual or natural significance. They play various kinds of roles including protection, provision and providence As a Christian, you have to be conscious of such angelic ministrations Every Christian has at least one guardian angel. You find such angels delivering the Apostles from troubles. Peter was physically delivered from Herod’s prison by an angel but thought it was a vision. This was no vision but a physical deliverance “And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision….Acts 12:8-9KJV” Such types and kinds of ministrations and privileges are for all Christians. The Bible says, “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” Are you an heir of salvation? Then it belongs to you It’s your responsibility to put them to work. You do so by voicing out God’s Word and by prayers especially praying in tongues. This is why you should not take lightly praying in tongues. You release coded instruction to angels through the agency of tongues. Paul says, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal…..” 1 Corinthians 13:1 KJV There are tongues by which you communicate with angels There are Christians who have been made to shun away from praying in tongues. You do yourself a great disadvantage. Therefore be conscious of angelic ministration God bless you!
