Isaiah 63:9NKJV

In all their affliction He was afflicted,And the Angel of His Presence saved them;In His love and in His pity He redeemed them;And He bore them and carried themAll the days of old

 

Who is the Holy Spirit? He is not a wind, force or an influence. He is a person, the one that created you. The Holy Ghost is the Angel of God’s presence. He brings the Father’s presence to you.

Over the years, there have been Christians who don’t understand who the Holy Spirit is. They think He is some force or influence. Not at all, the Holy Spirit is God, He is a person. Many of God’s people have looked down on the Holy Ghost, they think He is the lesser of the three. No! The Holy Spirit is coequal with God the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God the Father. He is the Father that dwells within.

Jesus referred the Holy Spirit as the Father within yet God the Father was on the throne in Heaven.

“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work…..John 14:10NIV”

 

When you understand who the Holy Ghost is, you will know that there isnt any poor Christian. You cannot be richer than you already are. To think that any Christian is poor and a nobody is to be very ignorant and carnal.

No amount of money in this world can be compared to the treasure within them.

Why then do they not experience His influence? It is because some Christians are carnal, men of the senses and value material things more than having the Holy Ghost.

What Joy does having the Holy Ghost give you compared to having money and owing cars? It tells you what your real treasure is.

David was different, he knew who the Holy Ghost is and treasured having Him. He said,

“Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy spirit from me……Psalm 51:11KJV”

You cannot have fellowship with God the Father or Jesus without the Holy Ghost

Who is the Holy Ghost?

He is the one that appeared to Moses in the burning bush. He is the one that said to Moses, take off those sandals for where you stand is Holy grounds. Yes! There have been preachers and Christians who think it was an Angel. No, it was the Holy Ghost.

When you understand who the Holy Ghost is and knowing that this same Holy Ghost forever abides in you, nothing will move or shake you. You will be at peace in the midst of storms.

The Holy Spirit is God!
