By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang 1 John 4:20-21KJV If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. Christians are very expressive in communicating their love for God. They have a longing desire to see if it was possible this Great God to demonstrate what they will call their immeasurable love and immense appreciation for Him. The truth really is that day in day out, we are offered the opportunity but not many take advantage of it. John says, “If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar” Why is that Christian a liar to say he loves God when he hates a brother or sister? This is because man is the seen image of the unseen God. The emphasis is on the “seen”. Why allow the opportunity to pass by when you see the image of the God that you claim to love and adore so much. The term “mankind” means “the man kind of” but the man kind of who or what? He is the man kind of God, the seen kind of Jehovah. He is the icon of God. God can’t understand why they claim to love Him so much but don’t love His seen image. It baffles God. This is why He calls such liars. They claim to love God so much when they hate and wish for the downfall of His seen image. They claim to have an adoration for the Most High but allows His living image and likeness to hunger. This becomes God’s reason for finding men as liars. After the flood in the days of Noah, this is what God told the inhabitants of the earth, “Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.…Genesis 9:6KJV” Be Careful how you treat God’s image! Be Careful what you say about God’s image! Be Careful how you relate to God’s image! God bless you! Confession I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward. Hallelujah! I am born again
