By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Romans 3:26KJV To declare, I say, at this time, His righteousness: that He might be just, and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus. Jesus has been set forth as the propitiation of the sins of the Christian and that of the whole world. “Him God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;……..Romans 3:25KJV” In Jesus, God becomes just when He justifies the sinner. This is mind-blowing but that is the power of the cross. He offered one perfect sacrifice for all time. Jesus has become your permanent Mercy seat; this is why sin shouldn’t have power over you anymore. Even right now if there is something you feel condemned by, no need for that. Just go to Jesus and receive mercy. It is as simple as that. Now, this doesn’t give you license to be sinning and this is what some preachers and Christians have not understood. This rather puts you over sin, sin cannot lord itself over you. If this emboldens you to be sinning, it just means that there is no love of God in you. Why should you love dirt? Why should you choose to be dressed in rugs when there is a beautiful garment? This is what Jesus meant when He said, “And this is the condemnation: that Light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil…..John 3:19KJV” Why love darkness over light? Why love sin over holiness? The Bible says, “Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good…. Romans 12:9NIV” For the Christian who loves God sincerely, Jesus has become your permanent place of mercy. No need to be condemned by any sin, just humble yourself to receive that grace of remission of sins. In Christ Jesus, there are no remembrances of sins. Sins are not imputed to you. What an amazing grace! Sin is not compulsory but if you sin, John says “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world……1 John 2:1-2NIV” God bless you! Confession I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward.
