The glory is your defense

Isaiah 4:5KJV

 And the Lord will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory shall be a defense.

When you received the Holy Ghost to live in you, you received the glory of God. The Holy Spirit is the glory of the father. He is the manifestation of God’s glory.

Paul said

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life……Romans 6:4KJV”

Later in this same epistle to the Christians in Rome, Paul said

“But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you….Romans 8:11KJV”

On one hand, he says that the glory of the Father raised Jesus from the dead. On the other hand, he says that the Holy Spirit raised Jesus from the dead. Why? This is because the Lord Holy Spirit is the glory of the father; He is the manifestation of God’s glory.

There are Christians including even pastors who pray and sing asking God to send His glory again from heaven. God cannot answer that because when they received the Holy Spirit, they received the glory of God. You have the glory of God abiding in you, which makes you the glory of God. And this glory is to dwell in you forever.

Whenever the Christian asks for the glory from Heaven, He hasn’t really understood Christianity. The permanent indwelling of the Holy Spirit is the locus of Christianity. Jesus said,

“And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever”even the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him. But ye know Him, for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you…..John 14:16-17KJV”

Now, as long as God is concerned, the glory in you is supposed to be your defense. He is supposed to protect you and defend you. The glory has become your protector.  This glory is what shows a difference between the Christians and non-christians. It was this same glory that was a judgment to the Egyptians but a defender and protector for Israel

“And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face and stood behind them. And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these, so that the one came not near the other all the night……..Exodus 14:19-20KJV”

It is because of this glory in you that Jesus said,

“they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover………Mark 16:18KJV”

You cant have this glory in you and be afraid of COVID-19. When this glory is in you, you don’t cry unto God to be doing the saving

After the presence of God had come on Moses’s rod, God was displeased when Moses was crying to Him to do something about their problem. For you the Christian, God’s glory and presence didn’t come upon any rod or stick in your possession but came to live in you. It’s the lack of this understanding that Christians and their pastors died from COVID-19. It matters your consciousness and understanding of Christianity.

“And the Lord said unto Moses, “Why criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel that they go forward. But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea and divide it; and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea…..Exodus 14:15-16KJV”

Remember, the glory is your defense!
