By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang 1 Corinthians 8:1NIV Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. The Bible says that knowledge makes proud. Paul the Apostle said, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing……. 1Corinthians 13:1-2NIV” Why are there some preachers who communicate big vocabulary of Greek and Hebrew yet get certain things wrong in their explanation of the Bible? It is because they have made it about them rather than it being about God and the people. They compete with each other and want to outdo one another. The Bible calls such as devilish wisdom The motive has always been wrong and God sees that. Why do you want what you want? Is it so to out do that brother or sister? Is that your purpose for living? This becomes foolishness and a lack of wisdom. Man’s problem came out of knowledge and the final self-extermination of the human era will be because of knowledge. The problem really was not the tree of knowledge of good and evil itself, for all what God created was good and God created that tree. “And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day…Genesis 1:31KJV” Everything that God created including the tree of knowledge of Good and evil were very good as far as God was concerned. So the tree of knowledge of good and evil wasn’t something evil, it was rather very good The problem itself is not knowledge, it is the one in whose hands that knowledge gets into” Does he have a nature of love? If not, then mankind is doomed. Knowledge is what will bring the self-extinction of mankind. They are going to destroy themselves. The Bible shows that You have to understand that anything can be weaponized, even water. You have to also understand that you currently live in a world, where the total volume of natural knowledge doubles every 8-12hours. We are in an era of explosion of knowledge, another big sign that we are in the end of the end times. Therefore, don’t just go for things anyhow. In everything, ask yourself, who is behind it? What is the motive, the agenda? Is it based on love? And most importantly, what does the Scripture say? God bless you!
