Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation The Master said, “When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation………Matthew 12:43-45KJV” He wasn’t only referring to an individual, for he ended with “Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation”. He applied this to a whole civilization and generation of men. The Apostolic mission of Paul and the early disciples so transformed the gentile world. Christianity cast out their idols and demonic spirits, idol worshippers became Christians. satan lost his grip on the pagan world. The high places, the shrines were destroyed and pulled down, the spirits were cast out. They were cast out from cultures and civilization, they walked in the dry and desolate places, they walked through the intermediate spheres of the universe. For instance, Paul talked about how the gentile Christians were idol worshippers before Christianity took centre stage “Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led……1 Corinthians 12:2 KJV” Over the years, satan has worked his way back into society because the church slept. The church lost sight of the purpose for their existence in this world, rather they have been engrossed in the things of the world and had become carnal, they have been deceived by the wiles and deep secrets of the devil. This was the church that so dominated kingdoms, empires, culture and a whole civilization. Now the locked portal has reopened and the demons have returned. satan has taken hold of classrooms, universities, politics, nations and culture, the cause of all what is happening in the world. The prophets of old talked about it, this was suppose to happen in the end times before the return of the great God, Jesus. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron…..1 Timothy 4:1-2KJV As a Christian, you should understand that the entities have returned and things are not going to be the same but even worse because they have come back with more wicked demons. You have to be your guard and make use of the “Name of Jesus” Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils;….Mark 16:17KJV” God bless you!
