The Taxonomy of God

Why are some Christians crushed by the curse, it is because of the lack of understanding. God says,
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: ……………..Hosea 4:6KJV”

Knowledge is very important, spiritually and naturally. Your life will be an expression of the revelation and knowledge that you have. You cant live beyond your knowledge.

You have to understand that all the nations of this world are under a curse including even the nation of Israel. It’s important you understand that. And even though you are a Christian if you identify yourself with any nation, you are going to suffer the same things they do. It comes down to even tribes and ethnic groups, they are all under a curse.

There are Christians who are very carnal, they pride themselves in belonging to a certain ethnicity, the reason they go through what they go through. I have heard some pastors talk about how Christians can hold on to certain customs and that being a Christian doesn’t mean you should throw culture away.

This is ignorance. They don’t fully understand Christianity. When you become a Christian, you don’t belong to any other culture or custom. What the Bible tells you is that so as not to offend the world, adjust to go with certain things especially those that don’t oppose the Word of God. It doesn’t mean you belong to their culture or traditions. Paul understood this very well so he said,

“To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some……..1 Corinthians 9:20-22KJV” We don’t belong to any culture but we adjust so not to offend them. It will be difficult to save someone you offend.

Wisdom says,
“A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle……Proverbs 18:19KJV”

Scientist, philosophers and taxonomists may have their classification systems but as far as God is concerned, there are three different races and class of people on this green earth. They are the Jews, the nations (gentiles) and the church. Which one
do you belong? You can’t choose two but only one. You cant say, I am a Christian but also a Ghanaian.

The reason why I will go to the airport and say that I am a Ghanaian is because they wouldn’t understand and even mock if I was to say that I am from Zion. The world doesn’t have a passport for “Zionites”. So we will have to go along but when
Christians meet or at liberty, go on associating themselves with such things, there is a problem.

The Lord Jesus understood this very important truth and communicated rightly.

One time He said to the Jews,
“Ye are from beneath; I am from above. Ye are of this world; I am not of this world……….John 8:23KJV”
When you become a Christian, you are from above and not part of this world.
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world…….John 17:16KJV”

Jesus said the same thing about you the Christian but do you see yourself so or you think you are a Nigerian?

The moment you identify yourself with any tribe or country, you are seeing yourself as part of the world. You have to understand that you have not only been redeemed from sins but from every tribe and nation because all nations and tribes are under a curse.
“And they sang a new song, saying, “Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof; for Thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood, from every kindred and tongue, and people and nation,……Revelation 5:9 KJV”

The cross redeemed the sinner away from every tribe, nation and kindred. No more generational curse.

There are Pastors still praying and fasting to deliver Christians from generational curses. How sad? You have no link to any tribal or generational curse if you are a Christian but why do they experience these curses. It is because they still identify themselves with such roots but Paul says, “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new…….2 Corinthians 5:16-17KJV
