Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life

 

When Jesus said,

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]…. John 10:10AMP”

He wasn’t talking to corpses but to living beings yet He said, I came so you may have life.

The Gospel of Jesus is about a life, a special type and kind of life. It is called the divine and supernatural life of God.

Everything in Christianity hovers around this life. Christianity is not character training, other religions do the same. Christianity is a life, one that you received in Christ.

When the angel freed the Apostles from the prison, they were instructed to go preach the words of the life that we are talking about this morning, the divine life of God.

When we come preaching and teaching the Gospel, it is a discussion about a type of life, the heavenly life. One that you receive whilst on earth and not in heaven.

This life is immune to sin, sickness, poison and all forms of ungodliness. It is the indefatigable and indomitable life of Almighty God.

It was because of this life that Paul didn’t die from the venom of a viper.

What energizes this life is the right knowledge and faith. This is what you need in this period of the pandemic.

It is because of this life that you have received that Jesus said,

“And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover….. Mark 16:17-18KJV”

 

Yes! This life makes you immune to all deadly things, to viruses, bacteria, to COVID etc. This life energizes your B-cells and T-cells. When you have this life, there is nothing like immunosuppression.

All Christians have this life but they have to be taught and trained in it.

You are not protected just because you have this life but knowing that you have it.

John the Apostle knew that having an experiential knowledge of the life is what will put it to work so he wrote to the church to say,

“And this is the record: that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.He that hath the Son hath life, and he that hath not the Son hath not life.These things I have written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God…..1 John 5:11-13KJV”

 

John says, you have to know that you presently have this life. It is called eternal life. Why wont Christians be dying from COVID when they have been wrongly taught to believe that they will receive eternal life when Jesus returns. No! you already have eternal life.

It is this life that Paul talked about when he said,

“I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life, which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me…. Galatians 2:20KJV”

Paul says, I now have this divine life in my flesh. He never said he was going to have it in Heaven.

Preachers teach their opinions to the congregants and after call Christians dying from COVID as being God’s will

For you the Christian, it is a complete waste of time to cry and beg God to do something about the COVID. God has done all He needed to do. He did it in Jesus.

Did you see Paul crying to God to do something about the viper bite? All that God needed to do was to give you that divine life and He has done that. We have to know what we have so to pray, talk and act in  consistency to the supernatural life in Christ.
