By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2KJV Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith. What do you mostly use your faith for, that faith which was dealt to you when you got born again? Is it for the acquisition of the things of this world? If so, that is very wrong. Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you…..Matthew 6:33KJV” The things of the Kingdom should be of most importance to you; earthly things are just the additional. Therefore, the things of the Kingdom should first be on your radar. Paul said, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth….Colossians 3:1-2KJV” Your affections and desires should be for the Kingdom mission and vision more than for earthly things. Its good to use your faith for solving earthly problems but most importantly faith should be used for achieving Kingdom goals. This is the mark of Christian maturity. How many times and consistently have you prayed and believed for the salvation of family, people, cities and even nations? Yet still this is what Jesus committed into your hands when He ascended on high. The Bible says, “I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth…..1 Timothy 2:1-4KJV” He says, “first of all”. What is of primary importance to God is the salvation of men, not earthly things. Therefore, let your prayer life be properly ordered. Prioritize kingdom goals in your prayer life and the other things will follow God bless you! Confession I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward.
