By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang John 18:38KJV Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all. Are you walking and living in truth? Are you living in truth concerning your marriage, business, health, ministry etc? Or you are in deceit? There is no middle ground. It is either you are walking in truth or deceiving yourself. It is either you are walking in reality or living in a lie. When the Master was arraigned before Pilate, the governor of Judea put a question to Him. He asked the Lord, what is truth? What a question? Today, God is putting that same question to you. What is ‘truth’? Is ‘truth’ what mom says? Is it what father keeps telling you? Is it ‘truth’ just because the aged said so? Is it ‘truth’ because society or culture assumes it to be right? Who has the right to determine what truth is? Is it the doctor or that lecturer that teaches in the school? Is it the lawyer or the judge? Is it ‘truth’ because it sounds logical to you? Different things appear reasonable to different people. Who has the right to determine what is logical? Is it ‘truth’ because the majority agrees to it? What really is ‘truth’? And how does a man or woman come to truth? Truth is reality; it is that which is true in any matter under consideration. When you are in truth, it means that you are in reality. Truth is the Word of God Jesus said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth…..John 17:17KJV” God’s Word is ‘truth’. What God says or has said concerning any matter or situation is the truth. It doesn’t matter what society, tradition, culture or the elite thinks, if God has said something that is the truth? Whether it makes sense to you or not, what God has said is the truth. To choose any alternative is to deceive you. The whole world may agree with you, it doesn’t change anything. What God has said is the truth. Truth is what God has said or says. This is why on the last day; you are not going to give account to daddy, friends, the aged, society or nation but God. This is God’s way of telling you that it is not about what you or the society thinks. Truth is what God says. He says, “ For it is written: “‘As I live,’ saith the Lord, ‘every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God…..Romans 14:11-12KJV” You will one day give account of yourself to Truth therefore search out what God’s Word says in that situation and live by it.
