By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Ephesians 5:17KJV Therefore, be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is You are not wise because you know a lot of vocabulary; you are not wise because you are grammatically sound and you are not wise because you think you are. You are not wise because you have a masters or a PhD. You are not wise because you are a lawyer or doctor and you are not wise just because you are full of years. The Bible says that the aged is not always wise. Age doesn’t necessarily mean wisdom. Age will give you experience but not necessary wisdom. You are wise because you know the will of God. You are wise because you know what God wants to be said and done in that situation or matter and goes on to do that. You are wise because you bring God’s judgments and will into situations. It’s not about being driven by emotions; it’s about what God wants done. Scripture instructs us not to be self-willed. Wisdom is very simple, it is not difficult to be wise and this is why God is not pleased when His Children act foolishly. Wisdom is just finding out what God wants to be done in that situation and you doing exactly that, such is wisdom. Wisdom is about being sincere with the Word of God. Wisdom is not about self-justification but seeking God’s will. Wisdom will make friends but equally have a lot of haters and enemies. This is because Wisdom will stand for God’s Word no matter the cost, case or who is involved but most men want to please themselves and fulfill the lust of the flesh and this is why they will hate wisdom. Jesus said, they hated me without a cause. As a Christian, you have been born again by the Word and that makes you a child of Wisdom. This makes you the executioner of His will.
