Wisdom is for the humble, God’s wisdom is for the lowly in heart therefore be humble. God hides His wisdom from the proud, He reveals it to those who are meek and lowly in heart. This is why when you come into contact with proud people, after all their boasting and shouting you will realize that their communication is devoid of wisdom. True wisdom comes from God, it is not something we are taught in school. Scripture says, “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding….Proverbs 2:6KJV” This is why Jesus was full of wisdom; this is why He was wisdom incarnate. He said of Himself “ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls………Matthew 11:28-29KJV” Humility is not about outward sobriety or quietness; it is measured by your submission to the word of God and how far you are willing to go with the word of God. Paul speaking of Jesus said, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross…….. Philippians 2:8KJV” This is what we learn from Jesus, to put the word of God even above our lives Spiritual maturity is not about titles or looks, you can be teaching the word of God but not spiritually mature. Spiritual maturity is measured by our submission to God’s word irrespective of the consequential insults, shame,disrespect, troubles and sufferings that come with it. Therefore be humble for He will teach the humble His ways. God bless you!
