Romans 11:36NIV
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

There are some Christians who think that God is the one to understand them. No!
God is not the one to understand us, we are to undertand Him. These Christians live in the realm of self justification, they have an excuse and reason for everything.

They have a reason for not getting time to study their Bible, they have a reason for not getting time to read the devotionals, they have a reason for not getting time to do the things of the Kingdom, they have a reason for living and walking in sin, they have a reason for not walking in faith, they have a reason for everything. To them, those reasons should be justified in the eyes of God. God will understand, they seem to think.

You have to understand as a Christian that since you didn’t create God but God did, you are to understand God. Christian maturity is when one understands that God doesn’t exist for him but he exists for God. Therefore, it is and should be about what God wants and not what you want.
It should be about you understanding God’s ways and not God understanding your ways and manner of life.

The Holy Spirit said concerning the Jews,

“That is why I was angry with that generation.I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways………Hebrews 3:10KJV”

There is a popular scripture from Isaiah that many Christians and some pastors quote. They mostly use it in praising God. The problem is that they do so, not understanding the meaning and import of that Scripture. If they did, they will rather feel sorry than quoting it as a form of praise because that Scripture was a statement of utmost displeasure from God.

The Scripture is

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the LORD.“As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts………Isaiah 55:8-9KJV”

Anytime you make this statement as a church, you are branding yourself a failure. Like they do to other Scriptures, they never studied this Scripture in context. God’s intention has always been for His ways to be the ways of man and His thoughts the thoughts of man. He made that statement through Isaiah because the Jews had failed in that regard.

How will God’s ways become your ways? It starts by you knowing that you are to understand God and not God to understand. You have to find out what pleases this God, how does He want me to live? Why did He create man and for what purpose?

This is how to understand the true meaning of the Word “Life”. God told me in time past. He said to me, Many Christians die without fulfilling their purpose for life. God was not talking about unbelievers but Christians. He said, many die without fulfilling the purpose and plan I set for them in life.

Don’t end up being one of such.

God bless you!
