Ephesians 4:23KJV

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

No human being was born with the knowledge of an atom, you are the product of what you have imbibed over the years. A child born in France will end up speaking french. If this same infant was born in Spain, he will be speaking Spanish.

It has nothing to do with his color, appearance or gender, you are what you take in

This is why you can find many beautiful women in prostitution, their beauty didn’t stop them from going into prostitution. As a matter of fact, that becomes a tool for marketing themselves.

Man is programmed like the computer.Garbage in, garbage out. The mind in his heart is the central processing unit.

This is why a well-dressed man after all the sweet tonation will marry a woman and be committing battery, the woman becomes his punching bag. Sometimes it is because many ladies are not wise in choosing spouses.

Character is and will always be a reflection of the thought materials that an individual has been imbibing over time. These thought materials come from the family, your immediate society, friends, social media, education, books etc. You are what you take in and God knows that. This is why when a man gets born again, He instructs him to renew the mind. He tells him to change his source of the thought materials.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God…..Romans 12:2KJV”

God knows that even though this individual has been regenerated, if the source of his thought materials remains the world, there is not going to be any change in character.

This is why there are Christians who still think, talk and act like the rest of the world, they have not changed the source of their thought materials.

And till the Christian changes the thought materials, the thinking and wisdom of this world will make sense to him and it is for many Christians.

The Bible says that there is a man who is wise in his own eyes. Are you wise in your own eyes?

“Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight……Isaiah 5:21NIV”

So the fact that a man thinks he is wise and clever doesn’t necessarily mean he is.

And many are like that, especially the educated folks.

Wisdom is the Word of God and the Word of God only.

Therefore let the source of your thought materials be the Word of God
