Ecclesiastes 7:17KJV
Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die
before thy time?

The preacher says,
“Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?”

This means that not all people die at the time they were supposed to, and some die before an  appointed time. What causes that? The answer is “foolishness”

When Abner died, David lamented how that he has died a fool’s death

“And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?……2 Samuel 3:33 KJV”

David knew the difference between dying as a fool and dying at the right time

In many churches, when people die the narrative becomes the “will of God”.

No! The question should be, was it a fool’s death or an appointed death?”
What then is foolishness and who then is a fool?
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction…Proverbs 1:7NIV”

A fool despises the instruction of God’s word. A Christian’s safety is in being God’s will for his life.

The reason for failure, troubles and destruction is the lack of wisdom. The wisdom of God’s is your safety.

The Psalmist says,
“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler…….Psalms 91:4KJV”

People worry themselves for nothing, why worry when your life was planned.

Your life from birth to finish was already planned before you came, that plan is called destiny. God creates destinies.

The problem is that you want to be like your brother or sister, that friend and this will bring you out of God’s place and will for your life. Your place of safety is being in God’s will

When Jesus walked the earth, He knew where to stay and where not to, He knew when to escape and when not to, He knew where to go and where not to.

It is the same with you, there are places God planned for you to stay and be at any point in time, things to do at any point in time and people you are to meet at any point in time.

Satan also plans for you; he plans to lure you to places you are not supposed to be, people you are not supposed to meet and things you are not supposed to do

Think about it this way, we all believe that God planned events in our lives. Well! events are functions of time and space, it thus means that not did He only plan the events but also the locations for those events and the time in your life that the events are to take place

Focus on what God has planned for you, don’t focus on what He planned for others.

When Peter was rather interested in what Jesus had in stored for John, Jesus was
angry and displeased
“When Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me……John 21:20-22KJV”

God wants you to be focused on what He planned for your life and not for others.

You prolong your life by staying in His will
God bless you!
