By Apostle Alex Adusei Agyemang Colossians 3:4KJV When Christ, who is our life………….. When the Bible says that Christ is our life, it means we get what Jesus deserves. This is the meaning of Christianity. This is why it is a Gospel, a good news. Christ has become your life, the oldman was crucified together with his life and that life has now been exchanged for the life of Christ. Paul the Apostle understood this very well so he said, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me….Galatians 2:20KJV” Paul says, Christ is my life and the life that I currently live in the flesh is the Christ life. Oh! the goodness of God. If all Christians and preachers will understand this vital truth, they will know who really the Christian is. Paul didn’t say that Christ was going to be his life in heaven, it starts right here on earth. Many Christians have been wrongly taught to accept that they should die from sickness, satan should frustrate their life and be in bondage till the sweet by and by when Jesus returns. This is not Christianity. Like Paul, Jesus Knew that His life becomes the life of the Christian whilst they are on earth, the moment they become born again so He said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.And these signs shall follow them that believe: In My name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover…..Mark 16:15-18” Jesus knew that deadly things cannot harm Him, He knew that demons have no authority over Him and since His life becomes the life of the Christians, these things also ought not affect them. Why then do many Christians go through these? It’s because of ignorance. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:……Hosea 4:6KJV” They are my people but will still be destroyed for their ignorance What Christians should be taught to understand is that it is not the responsibility of Jesus to ensure that you enjoy the life that He has graciously given you. God works with you on that through the Holy Spirit but its not Jesus’s responsibility. It is your primary responsibility. When the Christian understands this important truth, the way they pray will even change because many are not praying the right way. Beloved! You crying to God about the Covid-19 is not going to change anything. You have to take your place. He God has done all that He needed to do. The works are finished. You have to take your place. Taking your place in Christ is all what faith is about. Paul says, “Fight the good fight of faith………1 Timothy 6:12KJV” Fight! Unleash your faith God bless you! Confession I believe with my heart that Jesus is the very Son of God that He came to die for me and was raised up by God the Father. I confess Him as the Lord of my life from this day forward.
