Acts 20:32KJV
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified”

There is an inheritance in Christ and every Christian is an heir of the inheritance. Jesus Himself talked about the inheritance
“Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me………….Acts 26:17-18KJV”

The inheritance that Jesus talked about is not money. The reason why some Pastors and Christians have wrongly interpreted the word of God is that they have allowed the world, its language and systems to dictate their understanding of the word of God. For instance, when many see the word riches in the Word of God, all what comes to their mind is money. You have to understand that money is not of God but of men and their governments. The inheritance that Jesus talked about can pull money to you but those riches are not money. They are spiritual.

You demean God by thinking His inheritance is the unrighteous mammon of men. Even when money from this world comes to the house of God, there is a spiritual sanctification of the money that takes place, including those that come into your hands.
Jesus saw the poverty of some Christians but called them rich. Understand that Jesus didn’t say; you are going to be rich. They saw themselves poor and were seen by others as poor when really they were very rich.

“I know your suffering and your poverty (but you are rich), and how you are blasphemed and slandered by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan [they are Jews only by blood, and do not believe and truly honor the God whom they claim to worship]…………Revelations 2:9KJV”

It’s important the Christian is taught accurately the word of God. It is ignorant and evil for a Christian to measure himself or another by money
“My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. For if there come into your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment, and ye have respect for him that weareth the grand clothing and say unto him, “Sit thou here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “Stand thou there,” or,
“Sit here under my footstool,” are ye not then partial in yourselves and have become judges with evil thoughts? Hearken, my beloved brethren: Hath not God chosen the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which He hath promised to those who love Him?……James 2:1-5KJV”

Whenever you measure any Christian or yourself by the mammon of this world, you have judged the money of men as valuable and greater than the riches of God and such a thought is evil. Be careful how you see your fellow Christian or yourself. Many Christians are so at home in this world and don’t understand that they don’t belong here.

You presently belong to the Kingdom of Christ and have become an heir of all spiritual and heavenly resources. The spiritual resources can affect anything in life, including money but the riches are not the corruptible things of this world.

You are not going to become an heir; it is not in the future. You are an heir of God and you are to see yourself this way every time. Till you change the perception you have of yourself, the physical will not change. You have to understand that no Christian can be richer than he already is. There are Christians who pray to God to make them rich. Such is ignorance. You don’t pray that way. Pray in the reality of who you already are and you will see the physical condition change over time.

Jesus was an heir of God and hence all things belonged to Him. He lived on earth for 33 years. He slept and woke up everyday like you do but how much money did Jesus have at home? Onetime, He was even short of money but anytime He needed or required anything, there was supernatural provision. Don’t be limited in your mind by the values of this world. You belong to a world beyond this realm. The money of this world cannot produce life but God’s riches provide all that
pertain to life.

Now when Christians quote the Word of God, which says “Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your’s; And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s……..1 Corinthians 3:22-23KJV”

It means all of them should be millionaires but the Paul who made that statement, wrote to Timothy and said
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out………1 Timothy 6:6- 7KJV”

Apparently, when Paul said that all things are yours, he didn’t mean being a millionaire. Why did all these wrong teachings infiltrate the church? It is because some preachers and Christians are not focused and have lost sight of the true purpose for
which the Christian is presently in this world. It is their love for the world and money that has caused it. Paul says,
“ For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows……1 Timothy 6:10KJV”
Don’t covet after money. For you the Christian, if the reason for which you want to have millions is about luxury and the things of this world then you are a failure. You are no different from that rich man who was rich unto him and such is foolishness to God.

“And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?…….Luke 12 :16-20KJV”
“ So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God…….Luke 12:21KJV”

The true inheritance is spiritual

God bless you!
